Are You Frustrated With Your Child’s Anger?

Child Mad and YellingOne of the key things we need to remember is that our children can mirror how we handle emotions. If we were to see ourselves on video when we are experiencing frustration and anger, would we want our children to act in the same way? Keep in mind that we role-model everything. It is, “Do what we do”, not “Do what we say.” Use positive self-talk to model to your children how to use calming techniques and even give yourself a “time-out or quiet time” that shows it that  can be a positive self-directive and not punitive.
